Cricket anyone? A very friendly tour guide at Fort Charlotte informed me that Cricket is the national sport of the Bahamas. He later asked where we were from and when told US/Iowa he shouted "Go Hawkeyes!"

Fort Charlotte in Nassau. The moat (where the cars are parked) was never meant to have water in it. The idea was that prickly plants and other wildlife would live in the moat and keep the enemy at bay.

Freeport Harbour. If you look in the middle of the picture you can see a row of scooters. We rented one for the day and scooted around Freeport. We only rented one and Dan drove while I rode on the back reminding him to keep left every time we got to a round about.

Baby Boy

We go to Las Vegas and this is what we take a picture of. Snowmen at the Bellagio. Actually, they were really kind of interesting because they were made of carnations, seeds, and nuts.


More Christmas decorations in Las Vegas. What were we doing there other than looking at the decorations? Running the Las Vegas half marathon. We both achieved our goal of running the entire distance and finishing before the winner of the full marathon. I only saw one runner drinking a beer while running and another runner go into a McDonald's. Where was the camera when I really needed it?

Team R2D2K - Dan, Me, Dad, Mom, Molly, and Kevin. After a lot of waiting around and a little bit of running we finished the Fox Cities Marathon in record time. Well, a record for the team anyway. After a great finish this year I think we can win our division next year. Go team!
