Like sand through an hour glass...

First day of preschool 2014
                                                           Last day of preschool 2015

Riding the cart Dan built down the hill in the backyard.
 Pushing cart back up hill.
Punching baby (baby is doing the punching not being punched).

There are a number of houses for sale in our neighborhood right now.  Calvin wanted to know if the brown house across the street is going to be for sale when he is an adult so that he can live there.  Apparently he wants to live close to Dan and I when he's an adult but wants to have is own house.  Good thing because he really wants a dog and as you all know I do not like dogs.  Tonight at dinner we were talking about the different schools in our town and how college comes after high school.  Calvin seemed impressed that you can go to college any where in the world and study whatever you want to study.  He also seemed to be under the impression that we will be going with him to college.  I'll ask him again in a few years if he still wants us along!

Spring

7 months old!  Wesley has his first tooth and more on the way.  His favorite foods are mango, pears, mango and pears mixed, sweet potatoes, sweet potatoes mixed with mangoes, and squash.  He loves to laugh at his brother and once the two of them get going it's hard to stop!  He also likes to bang his cup on the tray of his highchair just for the fun of it.  He loves to roll over and find toys that babies shouldn't play with such as Hotwheels cars.  He isn't crawling yet but he can pull himself along and get to toys that are just beyond his reach.  He loves taking walks and laughs when the wind blows in his face.  He loves to be read to and starts laughing and kicking his legs when books are brought out.  He likes to turn the pages of books but doesn't like it when he closes the book on his fingers.  He also likes to chew on books and just about anything else he can get his hands on.

First day of the t-ball season.  Dan is coaching Calvin's team this year.
Garden volcano built by Calvin and one of our neighbor kids.
 Easter eggs found!
Wesley and Dan on the hunt for eggs.
Calvin setting out to search for eggs.  Yes, that is a Halloween pumpkin.  No, he does not want a traditional Easter basket.
 Dying eggs with neighbor friend.
Animals are ready for a trip north.
 5 months!

2 months

 2 months.
Calvin did most of the decorating of the Christmas tree by himself this year.  We tried to help but there weren't too many ornaments left for us to put on the tree!

Winter

3 months.  The tongue is always out!
Colorforms by Calvin and Grandma P.K.
If the tongue isn't out the fingers are in!
Oh, sweet boys.  They just adore each other.
Calvin wishing I would stop taking pictures so he could go skate.
 Lots of snow!
At 4 months Wesley loves bath time, chewing on toys, rolling onto his side but then stopping, trying to sit up on his own, being held at nap time, and of course his brother.  He dislikes long car rides, loud noises that startle him, and sleeping in his bed at nap time.

We've been keeping busy by visiting a children's museum, swimming at the local Y, and building with Legos.  Calvin's Lego collection keeps growing and I'm afraid that we are going to need to add on to the house soon because they have taken over the living room.

October and November

Looks like he's ready to do some fencing.
 Cutest monster ever.
Cutest pilot ever.  The day before Halloween Calvin told me that he wanted to be a cat, lego guy, puppy, bat, and pilot.  All at the same time.  Some how I convinced him that just being a pilot would still be fun.
Wish I could curl up like that and still be able to walk later!
When taking pictures this is what Wesley is always looking at.
We made it a month!
